Beats By Dr. Dre

I know what you're thinking (album leak, hahaha), but no. It's actually the name of the new headphones created by Dr. Dre and Monster Cable. These headphones are suppose to recreate the sound that comes out of a Dr. Dre studio (the highest of high quaility). USA today reported that Dre spent two years working with Interscope Geffen A&M chairman Jimmy Iovine and audio accessory maker Monster Cable to develop sets that replicate what he hears in the studio. "People in the studio took them home to listen to music they've been working on, and the sound was so different, they wanted to start over," Dre says. The headphones have already been featured in videos by Keri Hilson and Kardinal Offishal. Beats By Dr. Dre will hit electronic stores July 25.

Also from USA Today, Dre speaks on the highly anticipated Detox:
“I’m just now — over the last couple of months — starting to feel that it’s going to be right and it’s something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it,” says Dr. Dre (aka Andre Young). “In a perfect world, I’m shooting for a November or December release.”
